1Life week was a great success - lots of fun for everyone. The week was preceeded by a couple of garden parties, and really got underway on Saturday 19th July. From then until Saturday 26th July it was full steam ahead with all sorts of events from Mothers and Toddlers groups to Senior Citizens' teas, from Youth Club Nights to Poetry Readings and an Art Exhibition. We went from our Party in the Park to a Worship Service, followed by a Men's Curry Evening. Later in the week we had a Ladies Lunch, not to mention the Gospel Concert, Youth Band Night, Youth Club Night, Dinner & Cabaret, Big Night Out for the Family.... as well as the very popular Holiday Club for 5-11's. Lots of fun... and why Because we're celebrating... celebrating Life.... celebrating the life that we share together...celebrating all that Jesus Christ adds to our lives... and celebrating 40 years of Churches Together.
