Contained in a just-published Update from WODC on Air Quality Management Areas is this chart. The thick black line is the government-permitted maximum level of Nitrogen Dioxide - 40 . The vertical yellow bar measuring 70 is Horsefair. The County and District are required to produce an Action Plan showing how this level will be reduced. We've been waiting a year and still no Action Plan. WODC are still taking measurements and now promise a Plan for September. It really isn't good enough. Meanwhile - if you suffer from Asthma - take our advice and don't go anywhere near Horsefair.
