FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR

Ken Norman shows off the award which KOPO received from the Banbury Guardian on Friday evening - presented  by Bob Champion the jockey. KOPO were elected Fundraiser of the Year in the Banbury Guardian Community Awards scheme. Well deserved it was too. Congratulations from us all. Didn't they have an award for "Stunt of the Year"   Apparently Jeremy's recent escapade has been pulling visitors in from miles away - all keen to see just where the Rolls Royce hit the water! Ken says that attendance at the Lido is going like a train this summer. In one week recently the Lido took over 5000 in one week. Must be a record!! KOPO has been one of the huge success stories of the town in the last couple of years and an inspiration to campaigns that have followed. Now - with the Pool safe - for gawds sake lets get that Youth Centre and Skate Park organised.
