IN A QUIET CORNER THE GUILD OF COMMERCE LAUNCHED THEIR  NEW TOWN GUIDE
.........written, designed and printed in Chippy

Joy Timms wrote a lot of the text in the Guide. She discusses  some Chippy history with Ralph Mann - another contributor. Eve Coles meets Mark the designer of the cover of the new guide. And Nichola who designed the inside pages seems completely transfixed by Jo Graves splendid Victorian hat  (so were we all Nichola!!)

Brian Galbraith, Peter Barbour and Brian Wooby all have a first look through. Both Brians were impressed - and bought ten copies each on the spot! Muriel Graham kindly read the proofs of the Guide before printing and her professional eye found hundreds of slips which the keen amateurs had missed.

Guild Chairman Maureen Shepherd and Committee Member Mary Whitehead meet Tim and Graham from Kopyrite - the printers who did such a superb job. Caroline Buckler from Fairfax was glad that the town had a guide again at last. Monica (in her Dr Zhivago Victorian night hat) catches up with Steve Turner - the boss of Mark Making the Chippy-based designers of the guide. John Grantham contributed a super article on the Regulated Pastures  which is worth the 2 cover price on its own!
