VICTORIAN EVENING

2004 ANOTHER SUPER NOISY VICTORIAN EVENING

2003  THE BEST VICTORIAN EVENING YET!

A fair, fire-eaters, a jazz band, a town crier, a dry mild evening, lots of fancy dress, mulled wine flowing freely and discounts in the shops...you couldn't have asked for much more. The Christmas Tree lights were all working again in time for the evening and with the extra colour and light from the fair rides and the market stalls the Square looked great. Just like it should be - busy, noisy and fun. The co-op arcade really came into its own. It was jam-packed and the various Town Groups seemed to be doing a roaring trade. The ATC calendar and the new Museum Picture Book were selling like hot cakes. Patrick Neale and John Kench had done a fabulous job in getting it all together. Sincere thanks to them.
