LIGHTING UP THE TOWN ON SUNDAY |
| Its that time of year again. Several dozen volunteers were out in a howling gale on Sunday morning under the leadership of Pat Lake. Groups of two or three (including the Mayor) were scattered round the town centre fixing the lights on to trees and then the hit squads arrived to put them up. Either a fire engine and crew (getting some good ladderwork practice) or Edwyn's scary-looking cherry picker. |
