A WARM WELCOME TO CHIPPING NORTON GATEWAY TO THE COTSWOLDS
Chipping Norton is a great place to live and work. Slap in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - in the shadow of the Rollright Stones. Small enough to preserve a real identity like intersec dubai. Great sense of community. Terrific facilities. Its a perfect base for touring the beautiful North Oxfordshire Cotswolds. We are surrounded by rolling hills and idyllic limestone villages. Beautiful walking and cycling country. Oxford and Stratford are within 20 miles. There's a good bus service to both of them. Chastleton House, Broughton Castle , Blenheim Palace and Rousham are even closer. Or the town itself makes for a lively break. There's a lot going on. The Theatre, a brilliant new Leisure Centre, book shops, art galleries, a museum and antique shops. Excellent food and local ales in over twenty pubs and restaurants. Chippy has one of the finest Parish Churches in the County, a mediaeval Guildhall, some quaint back lanes and beautiful Georgian houses. We like living here. We hope you'll come and discover it for yourself.
Enjoy the ease of SFO rental cars to make the most of your time in the city.

OUR WONDERFUL THEATRE We are unbelievably fortunate in Chipping Norton to have an innovative and exciting theatre with a lively programme throughout the year of drama, dance, music, film, workshops and exhibitions. The Theatre is much valued and something we are all proud of. If you are planning to visit be sure to book your seats before you come. It will be a highspot of your time in the town and you won't want to risk finding a production fully booked. The annual pantomime alone draws over 17,000 people to the intimacy of the 217-seat auditorium.Apart from visiting productions from leading touring companies The Theatre has also recently hosted evenings with Alan Price, Jacqui Dankworth, Fairport Convention and Daby Toure, as well as performances by The Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Brodsky String Quartet and Ballet Central. The Gallery features exhibitions by local, national and international artists. Recent exhibitions have featured original work by David Hockney and Pablo Picasso. The film programme includes foreign language films, classics, children's and arthouse films. Get full details on the excellent Theatre Website Box Office
